I bought this book thinking that a romance for the heroine would be fulfilling. It was not. Neither the romance/sensual aspect nor the sexual aspect were well developed or written. I was disappointed by the end that none of the characters had my sympathy or care. The story concentrated, what little it did at all, more on the sexual pleasure of the two male leads than on any pleasure at all for the female lead. I was expecting, by the first chapter, that Kimberlyn's sexual appetite would be given presidence, but the sexual events between the two male characters were better written than the menage with all three characters. The menage was too 'mysical' not sexual. Kimberlyn's wants and needs weren't fulfilled. I was never sure during the whole book whether Kimberlyn was a tragic heroine, a strong character, the victim of abuse. None of which made her memorable or likeable. The Alpha Logan wasn't the a fully developed character and didn't appear in any way to truely care for Kimberlyn. A little more for Andrew but even that not fully enough for you to enjoy the sexual interactions between the two male wolves. Andrew the submissive was more fully realized and cared more for Kimberlyn than Logan in, sort of, a mamby pamby kind of way. This book must be the beginning of a series as the end few pages gave rise to that premise. Overall I was quite disappointed in both the writing and the story. And will not likely purchase any further books in either the series or by this author.Product details

Sanctuary edition by Cassidy Hunter Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This book is hot and steamy with a great plot! Cassidy Hunter is a great paranormal erotica writer. I am looking forward to ordering Strange Familiar too.
Dylan's life has been difficult since he became a werewolf. He was forced to do things he is not proud of. When he gathered the courage to save his friend and defy his first Alpha he sought sanctuary with the Red Rock Pass wolves. He has saved many lives but still feels the guilt of past deeds.
Sasha is a witch--well, a witch-in-training--who was forced to step up when her mentor was killed. The wolves of Red Rock aren't particularly fond of witches and Sasha can feel the hate. The Alpha, Gavin has welcomed her but she still doesn't feel any acceptance from the rest of the pack. There is an exception though, when she is around Dylan she feels anything but hate. He makes her feel things she has never before experienced.
Sanctuary is under attack, there is a war brewing and the wolves are going to need every ally they can get. It appears vampires have joined forces with their enemies and they want to get rid of sanctuary. Sam the Alpha's mate becomes a casualty and only Sasha can help. Dylan and Sasha will go on an incredible journey to attempt to defeat the enemy. Will they find love along the way? Can they survive in a world where Sasha is hated? Will Sanctuary survive the evil that wants to eradicate it?
Sanctuary's Price is an exciting read, a page-turner! I could not put it down I was dying to see how Dylan and Sasha maneuver in this world, if they could overcome their circumstances to thrive together. Moira Rogers has created a world with amazing characters you can't help but become attached to. With unique plot lines that flow amazingly through each book. I have become a big fan of the Red Rock Pass series. It is not totally necessary to have read the first two books in the series but it does help, especially concerning familiarity with all the characters and why they act certain ways. I believe Dylan and Sasha are my favorite couple from the series. They both have these wonderful backgrounds full of strife that have molded them into strong amazing people determined to take care of everyone else. Yet neither realizes just how strong they can be. Together Dylan and Sasha may find out how much strength they have if they can learn to lean on someone else. Sanctuary's Price is a sweet, satisfying adventure.

Cassidy Hunter has a new take on shape shifting romance with SANCTUARY. Kimberlyn is a healer and as such a prized commodity. The first pack that can claim her gets to keep her - after all, she is valuable.
Kimberlyn is torn. She wants to be who she is without having to disguise or hide exactly what she wants. She wants to be loved and to love with all that she is without having to pull any punches. She desires her sex rough and longs to submit to the right person. Her healing capabilities make her extremely valuable to whichever pack can capture her.
Andrew and Logan are partners. Logan is Pack Alpha, and as such, he and Andrew long for a third to complete their pack. They have to do something. Bears want to take it over and that is something that neither shifter desires. When they see Kimberlyn for the first time, it is more than apparent that she is the one for them - they sense it and if Kimberlyn wasn't so stubborn, she would know it too. However, Logan and Andrew relish the idea of convincing this beautiful woman of her importance to them as well as their pack.
Hot. Sex. Lots and lots of hot sex. Logan and Andrew are smoking hot all on their own - add in the addition of Kimberlyn and her sexual desires and the words of SANCTUARY smolder across the pages in an enticing and titillating story. Add in big bad bears and this is a shape shifting book you won't want to miss!
